To support the refreshed goDog branding across digital channels, I spearheaded several high-impact social media campaigns that combined custom illustration, AI-powered workflows, and playful storytelling. My work significantly boosted engagement and helped establish a consistent, on-brand visual identity for goDog’s online presence.

Working within the newly defined goDog illustration style that I developed collaboratively with our senior designer, I trained ChatGPT and MidJourney to generate dog illustrations in our cartoony, bold-outlined, high-contrast style featuring white dogs against turquoise and navy backgrounds. I refined the AI outputs using vector illustration and fine art techniques to ensure polish, consistency, and scalability across assets.

Lunar New Year Campaign
Featuring 12 custom dog illustrations plus a title slide, this post outperformed standard goDog content by over 574%, becoming the top-performing post of the year.

Size Comparison Chart
Designed to educate users on toy sizing based on dog breed, this fun, informative post increased views by 317%. I illustrated dogs and toys to scale, blending AI-generated templates with hand-refined vector work to ensure clarity and brand consistency.

Mother’s Day Post
Based on my original concept—“a woman carrying her French bulldog in a front-facing baby carrier with a tote bag full of toys”—I directed the AI to generate a stylized, brand-aligned composition. The final illustration was cleaned up and vectorized, resulting in a post with 121% higher views than average and high user engagement.

All three campaigns were among the top-performing posts of the year, with strong shareability and stakeholder praise. As a result, I became the go-to illustrator for goDog’s brand-forward content, helping bridge physical packaging and digital storytelling in a cohesive visual system.

goDog Size Comparison Chart Social Post

To help customers understand which toy size is best for their dog, I partnered with the Social Media Manager and Marketing Director to design a fun, referenceable infographic styled like a police lineup. The chart playfully compares different dog breeds and toy sizes, turning product education into a highly engaging visual experience.

I used a combination of AI-assisted templates and my fine art illustration skills to create clean, vector-based graphics that align with the brand style I developed in collaboration with the Senior Designer during the goDog rebrand. Each dog and toy was illustrated to scale, with careful attention to color, line weight, and proportions to ensure both accuracy and visual cohesion.

The post significantly outperformed goDog’s average content—earning 3,758 views versus the typical 900, a 317.5% increase in engagement. The illustrations were extremely well-received by stakeholders, and I’ve since become the go-to designer for goDog’s branded illustration work.

These graphics have extended far beyond social: the illustrations are now used as infographics on goDog’s Amazon product pages, and have been repurposed across multiple brand touchpoints, including packaging, additional infographics, and social campaigns—cementing them as core visual assets in the goDog design system.

goDog Lunar New Year Social Media Post

To celebrate Lunar New Year 2025, I collaborated with the Marketing Director and Social Media Manager to create a culturally respectful and visually engaging post reimagining the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac as playful dog hybrids. To ensure cultural accuracy and sensitivity, I consulted with Chinese colleagues during the concept phase.

To develop the illustrations, I trained and directed AI tools (Midjourney and ChatGPT) to emulate the brand's illustration style that I co-designed during the goDog rebrand. I then refined, composited, and vectorized the outputs by hand to ensure clean, consistent, and brand-aligned artwork. The post also included a bold, scroll-stopping title slide that set the tone for the full carousel. I used Affinity Designer 2 and Adobe Illustrator for the vector illustrations.

This post achieved 6,067 views, compared to a typical average of 900—a 574% performance increase—and was widely praised across the company. Leadership specifically highlighted my illustration work and high share rate. These 12 original illustrations are now part of the brand’s extended design system, used across additional goDog content and platforms.

goDog Mother's Day Social Media Post

For Mother’s Day 2025, I was given full creative freedom by the Marketing Director and Social Media Manager to concept and illustrate a unique, heartfelt post for goDog’s social media audience. I pitched the idea of a cool, modern “dog mom” walking with her adorable French Bulldog pup in a baby carrier—a playful nod to real-life pet parents who see their dogs as family.

I designed the illustration from scratch in goDog’s brand style, emphasizing personality, warmth, and character-driven appeal while keeping it bold and scroll-stopping for Instagram.

The post outperformed typical goDog image posts (which average around 900 views) with:

1,985 total views

135 likes, 25 shares, and 174 total interactions

80.6% of views from followers, demonstrating strong internal engagement

22 profile actions, indicating strong brand curiosity and connection

This piece was praised internally and reinforced the success of our illustration-forward approach on social, helping build a consistent and lovable brand identity across platforms.

goDog Play Styles Social Post

Working closely with the Marketing Director, Social Media Manager, and Director of Dog Product Development, I created a playful and informative social media campaign to highlight goDog’s various toy categories—each designed to match a dog’s unique play style and personality.

I used AI tools trained on my own illustration style and then vectorized with Affinity Designer 2 for iPad and Adobe Illustrator to develop on-brand visuals that were cohesive with the goDog identity I helped shape during the rebrand. These charming dog characters embody different toy features like Silent Squeak, Magic Motion, Chew Guard, and Double Chew Guard, while the infographic-style layout makes it easy for consumers to identify which toy is right for their pup.

From concept through final illustration, I crafted the graphic to be fun, engaging, and brand-consistent. The layout was optimized for mobile-first viewing, and the illustrated dogs were fine-tuned to clearly convey energy, emotion, and interaction with each toy type.

As of posting, the campaign received solid engagement with 52 likes, 15 comments, and 11 shares—above average for goDog image posts—confirming the value of combining strong visuals with targeted educational content.
